Administrative Login
When you're logged in as Administrator this is the way your home page
will look. You will see your Photo Categories (i.e. "Travel"
below), and Albums within the category (Paris 2005, Vermont, etc. here).
You will also see Delete, Properties and Edit Files buttons next to each
album. Click on Delete and the album will be deleted, after you
confirm of course! Click on Edit Files and you will be able to
edit files in each album.
What Your Visitors See
When your visitors click into a Photo Album, they will see 4-5
thumbnails near the bottom of the page. They can click on any of
them to see a larger version in the top part of the page. If they
want to see yet a larger version, they can click on the picture at the
top of the page and get the original size (shown below).
The buttons above the photo provide controls for
various functions. For instance, your visitors can watch all the
photos in an Album as a slide show. Or, they can click the right or left
arrows to navigate to the next or previous photos. They can also
send E-Cards to their friends with your photos, thus helping you promote
your site!

above. This picture can be any size you choose. We do not
put any limits on the size your originals can be. So many photos
look so much better when you can see them in as large a format as
possible that we feel this is very important to enabling your visitors
to see your photos in high a resolution/high quality format.
Most online photo album web
sites limit the maximum size of your photos and that really cuts into
the quality of what your visitors will see.
Visitor Toolbar
Your visitors can do several things while they're on your site.
They can rate your photos on a scale of 1 to 5 Stars. They can
view comments that other visitors may have written about your photos.
They can also view your photos based on the ones that were most recently
uploaded.
Administrator's Toolbar
Your tool bar takes you quickly to the various functions you can perform
with your online photo album.
Uploading Photos
This is the screen from which you will upload your photos to your
site. Simply select the files from your computer's hard drive, or
from a URL on the web. Then press Continue. The Photo Album
will take it from there. It will automatically create the small
and medium-sized thumbnails as well as saving a copy of the original.
It will automatically create file names for all these files and tag them
so that it knows what thumbnails go with what originals. It will
then ask you what photo album you want to put them in and it will let
you write a description for each photo.
Photo Album Management
From this screen you can add/delete and edit your photo Categories
and Albums.
User Management
You can give access to as many different users as you like. And
you can control the type of access they'll have. Administrators
have full access and can do everything you can do. Users and
Guests have more restricted access and you control exactly what you want
to allow them to do.
